The founder (2002) and head instructor specializing in the Longsword at Fechtschule Gdańsk, he trains dedicated practitioners of Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA). The school focuses on mastering traditional European fencing techniques while also exploring the historical context and cultural significance behind these martial practices.
Throughout his journey, he has achieved significant recognition in the HEMA community. He is a multiple winner of various HEMA tournaments in Poland, including prestigious events such as SMDF, W3, Srebrna Góra, and Rybnik. Notably, he secured 1st place at the largest international Longsword tournament, Swordfish 2011, showcasing his skills on a global stage. Additionally, he placed 3rd at Swordfish 2012 and 2nd at ILGH 2019. In 2012, he also achieved the top position on the HEMA rating, further solidifying his reputation as a competitive fighter and instructor.
He has also led HEMA workshops both in Poland and abroad, sharing his knowledge and expertise with practitioners at various levels. Currently, he focuses on the fundamentals of swordsmanship, cutting techniques, and fencing demonstrations. His passion for HEMA drives him to continuously improve his techniques and help students develop their skills and appreciation for this unique martial art.
