HUSSAR SWORD — MADE TO ORDER

Handcrafted at the ENSIFER workshop, this sword is inspired by a historical example in the collection of the National Museum in Lublin. It combines a straight, double-edged blade with an open Polish-Hungarian-style hilt. A long fuller, crossguard with langets, and angled pommel give it a distinctive silhouette.

The example shown features a black, transversely ribbed grip, contrasting with the satin finish of the blade and steel hilt fittings. Custom etching allows you to add selected symbols, ornaments, or inscriptions. A fitted scabbard can also be made to order.

Dimensions, handling characteristics, and finishing details are agreed individually before production begins. The photographs show an example of a completed commission.

The price covers the sword without decoration or inscriptions. Etching and a fitted scabbard are priced separately.

LEATHER SHEATH FOR MESSER

A fully historical reconstruction, made from two layers of naturally tanned leather and hand-stitched with linen thread. Fitted to the shape of the messer blade, it covers the edge and point and protects the blade from scratches during carrying.

A thick, waxed leather thong allows the sheath to be attached to a belt. Its historical design, materials and construction complement the messer.

CUSTOM SCABBARD — HISTORICAL SCABBARD FOR A SHARP SWORD

A custom-made scabbard based on a historical design, fitted to the individual blade. The wooden core is reinforced with linen cloth bonded using high-quality hide glue or synthetic resin, covered in genuine leather and finished with a steel chape.

Designed specifically for training with a sharp sword, it allows you to practise complete sequences — from drawing the sword, through performing techniques, to sheathing it again.

The rigid construction covers the edges and point and protects the blade while carrying. The steel chape protects the end of the scabbard from mechanical damage. Raised leather decoration and a slim profile complete its historical appearance.
